The Science of Scent: Aromatherapy Insights for Medical Professionals in Collaboration with Dr. Ewa Koźmińska-Badr

Dr Ewa Koźmińska-Badr, a distinguished figure in family medicine and phytotherapy in Poland, recently contacted me after reading an article I published on my website about the therapeutic use of aromatherapy for panic attacks. With over 15 years of experience in clinical practice and a profound interest in integrating natural treatment methods into her care approach, her expertise and dedication to holistic health align closely with my own values.

Graduating from Adam Mickiewicz Medical University in Poznań in 2006, Dr. Koźmińska-Badr has continually pursued professional development opportunities. She specialises in family medicine and explores the therapeutic potential of phytotherapy. Her commitment to evidence-based care and holistic philosophy have made her a respected clinician known for her personalised and compassionate approach to patient treatment.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Koźmińska-Badr is actively involved in medical education and advocacy. She serves as the chairman of the Phytotherapy Section of the Polish Family Medicine Society, where she promotes the integration of natural treatment methods into clinical practice and facilitates knowledge-sharing among healthcare professionals. Dr Koźmińska-Badr is a passionate advocate for aromatherapy, believing it holds immense potential to enhance physical and mental health. She is committed to introducing people to the world of aromatherapy safely and enjoyably, emphasising its ability to positively impact various aspects of life, including mood, sleep quality, and focus.

With an educational approach, Ewa aims to empower individuals with knowledge about the effective use of essential oils and how to tailor aromatherapy practices to meet their specific health needs. She collaborates with experts, doctors, and certified clinical aromatherapists to provide comprehensive guidance and support, ensuring that individuals can explore different essential oils' calming, energising, and soothing properties.

During the 18th edition of the Top Medical Trends conference in Poland, Dr Koźmińska-Badr seized the opportunity to promote her platform aimed at medical professionals, where she shares valuable information on aromatherapy and its applications. With over 3,000 medical and clinical attendees present, she published my article on her website promoting phytomedicine to introduce aromatherapy to her peers, emphasising its potential benefits in supporting patients' well-being.

Dr. Koźmińska-Badr's dedication to advancing the field of integrative medicine and her efforts to improve healthcare outcomes through education and collaboration make her a valued colleague and ally. I am honoured to collaborate with her and support her mission to integrate aromatherapy into clinical practice, ultimately enhancing patient care and promoting holistic well-being across Poland.
