  • The main difference between a fragrance and a functional fragrance lies in their intended purpose:

    • Fragrances: These are primarily designed for their olfactory appeal, focusing on creating a pleasant and appealing scent. They are commonly used in perfumes, aftershaves, and scented products to enhance personal aroma or improve the atmosphere of a space, delivering an enjoyable sensory experience.

    • Functional Fragrances: While functional fragrances are also enjoyable, they are specifically formulated to provide additional benefits beyond their aroma. These can include therapeutic effects, such as stress relief or mood enhancement, or practical benefits, like insect-repellent properties, antimicrobial effects, or supporting well-being in spaces such as hotels or spas.

Yatlina Functional Blends combine aromatherapy principles with fragrance design, making them pleasant and purposeful.

  • As a certified aromatherapist, I create balanced, aromatic environments where scent enhances spaces without overwhelming them. Guided by the “less is more” principle, I carefully layer scents using passive and controlled active diffusion on surfaces.

Yatlina’s waterless ultra-nebuliser diffusers release the fragrance in fine micro-droplets, ensuring an even, intermittent diffusion. Layering this with passive diffusion products like reed diffusers and adding pure blend drops to appropriate surfaces alongside the occasional air misting maximises the scent’s therapeutic benefits. It maintains an inviting, unobtrusive presence that welcomes visitors with a warm embrace.

  • The theme of "Beyond the bustle" is the aromatic guide to the 4 blends. Find out more details Here

  • All the Yatlina Blends for the IHS share a backdrop of fresh woodland and translucent shimmers of light reflecting the show's theme, "Beyond the Hustle". This base links all four blends to create a cohesive narrative to the show while distinguishing different areas with varied aromatic twists reflecting its intention and design, from a fresh open and fresh aroma that ignites excitement and anticipation to a calmer, more decedent note of warmth.
