4 Reasons why you should not add essential oils to your mask
While it might initially seem like an excellent idea to add essential oils to your mask for a variety of reasons, here is why I advise against it.

Essential oils are made up of very concentrated natural chemicals, making them very potent but potentially irritating to the skin and body. They can also be corrosive to the material they are put on.
Four main reasons not to apply undiluted essential oil on your face mask

Placing even one drop of pure essential oil on your mask can potentially degrade the material of your mask (especially if they are the disposable or medical grade), which means your mask is no longer as effective and possibly dangerous to yourself and others.
